This page explains which cookies and similar tools the website www.itlit.com uses and how you can choose which ones to accept. It complements the Privacy Policy.
What cookies are
Cookies are small text files that a website stores in the visitor's browser so it can read them again on later visits. They are first-party when set by this website and third-party when set by an external service used by the website.
Technical cookies are needed to run the website and do not require consent. All other cookies are enabled only after you accept them.
The banner and your choices
On your first visit a banner appears with three buttons: Accept all, Reject all and Customise. Closing the banner with the X counts as rejecting. Until you choose, the website does not load any tool that requires consent.
You can change your mind at any time with the Cookie preferences link at the bottom of every page. Your choice lasts 6 months, after which the banner is shown again. It is also shown again if this cookie policy changes substantially.
To be able to prove that consent was collected, the website records each choice on its own server: accepted categories, date and a random code. The record contains no IP address or other data that identifies you.

Statistics cookies (only with your consent)
If you accept the Statistics category the website enables Google Analytics 4, which measures visits in aggregate form: page views, session length, approximate location, device type. It helps us understand which content is useful and improve the website.
Until you consent, Google Analytics is not loaded. The website uses Google Consent Mode v2: all consents start as denied and are updated only according to your choice.

Third-party content (only with your consent)
The Contacts page shows our premises on a Google Maps map. If you have not accepted the Third parties category, a box with an "Accept and show" button is displayed instead of the map: the map loads only after you consent.
Once loaded, Google receives the visitor's IP address and may set its own cookies on the google.com domain, for example to remember preferences and protect the service from abuse. These cookies are managed by Google, which decides their names and duration (usually up to 13 months). Google Privacy Policy – how Google uses cookies.
Other external services
The website uses Google Fonts for its typefaces and downloads some libraries (jQuery, Bootstrap, GSAP) from jsDelivr and cdnjs (Cloudflare). None of these services sets cookies, but the browser downloads the files from their servers, which receive the visitor's IP address. The website does not use profiling or advertising cookies.
Managing cookies from your browser
Besides the Cookie preferences panel, you can view, block or delete cookies in your browser settings. If you block technical cookies, some features of the website, such as sending the contact form, may not work.
